Personal Statement

Wayne A. Schaible

I am a Philadelphia native, born in Germantown and raised in Mount Airy. I attended high school at St. Joseph's Prep in North Philly, the University of Pennsylvania in West Philly, and Temple University Beasely School of Law in North Philly. And yes, my wife, four kids and I are die-hard Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers fans.

After graduating law school in 1979, I worked at one of Philadelphia's largest and most prestigious law firms for thirteen years on behalf of institutional clients, but left with three other partners in 1992 to found a litigation law firm that continued to concentrate on defending corporations and insurers while also allowing me to pursue my passion of representing injured victims of negligent conduct. Since 2005, however, I have devoted my practice exclusively to representing individuals, many of whom have lost a loved one or suffered devastating injuries and permanent disability.

My early experience of having defended corporations, oil refineries, insurance companies, hospitals, doctors and product manufacturers has given me a unique insight into their practices and behavior that has prepared me well for the battles they often wage when presented with a claim or lawsuit by an injured individual. That experience has been especially valuable when prosecuting a bad faith claim against an insurance company that has ignored its obligations to its customers.

I have handled and tried cases in many of the counties in Pennsylvania, from Philadelphia to Scranton, from Harrisburg to Pittsburgh, and from State College to Danbury, both in state court and in all three federal district courts.

I limit myself to a discreet number of cases since I handle the case personally from start to finish, rather than rely on others to work up the case for settlement or trial. I believe that the client deserves nothing less. Do not hesitate to call me for a free consultation. If I cannot help you, I may know someone who can. I am here to serve you.
